The Avengers was really long, boring, shallow, and obnoxious. It was the kind of movie that thrived on White male superhero superiority and thought it was really good and awesome but really fell short of every single word-of-mouth and critical expectation I developed over the past few days.
At least I’m up there with The New York Times and the Village Voice because they all think the same.
